FAQ

  • What type of makeup products do you use?
We select only the most quality products. Some of our favorites are Laura Mercier, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Charlotte Tilbury, Tarte, Forever Makeup, NARS Cosmetics, and TEMPTU.
  • What’s the difference between regular and airbrush makeup?
Airbrush makeup is lighter and provides a smoother overall finish. It tends to stay put longer as it is absorbed directly into the skin rather than sitting on top of it. Airbrush makeup isn’t as creamy as regular formulas, so brides with dry skin often opt for standard makeup. When it comes to aged or wrinkled skin, regular formulas provide better overall coverage.
  • Have your stylists previously worked with acne, blemishes, and other skin conditions?
Yes. Our stylists are trained to understand and attend to all skin conditions safely and hygienically. We ask that you provide us with a no-makeup selfie prior to your wedding or event so that your assigned stylist can assess which products and techniques are best suited to your individual skin requirements. If have specific allergies please notify us in advance so that we may plan accordingly.
  • Will my hair and makeup withstand the heat/ocean breeze?
Our stylists use high-quality products designed to provide maximum staying power for outdoor, oceanfront weddings and events. During the design phase of the planning process, we will guide you as to what hair and makeup styles will and won’t go the distance depending on your wedding location, event date, and skin/hair texture. Setting spray will be applied before your stylist leaves the venue. We recommend keeping an emergency kit on hand during your event for quick touch-ups after your stylist leaves for the day. Your emergency kit should include oil blotting papers, lipstick, translucent powder, blush, hairspray, and bobby pins.
  • What’s your rate and what does that include?
In our first email correspondence, you will receive a personalized quote based on the services you have requested. Mexican taxes and mobile service fees will be clearly disclosed within the initial quote.
  • Do you offer a bridal package? Does this include a hair and makeup trial or is that priced separately?

  • Can I review a portfolio of the work my stylist has done in the past?
We will send you a general portfolio of our most recent work. All of our team members have been trained and certified by Olga and adhere to her standards when attending to our clients. Our stylists are highly competent and your artist will be selected based on the hair and makeup style you are requesting.

  • Will I receive a group timeline before the big day?
